What We Do
The Center for Genomic Health was founded in June 2018 at the Mount Sinai Health System. It is an umbrella program at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, which enables data scientists and clinicians to rapidly bring cutting-edge findings from genomic discovery to the front line of clinical care of Mount Sinai Health System patients.
The Center brings together faculty and staff from The Charles Bronfman Institute of Personalized Medicine, the Department of Medicine, the Department of Genetics and Genomic Science, and elsewhere throughout the Health System.
The Center’s priorities will include new models for biomedical translational research, genomic medicine, and population health screening programs for a range of conditions linked to genetic variants in the diverse populations of New York City.
