Ayuko Iverson, MD

Dr. Ayuko Iverson is an internist and clinical geneticist in the Center for Genomic Health. She is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Medicine and of Genetics and Genomic Sciences at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Dr. Iverson will be facilitating the Center’s efforts to return medically actionable genetic results to participants of the Mount Sinai BioMe biobank and integrating genomic medicine into the Mount Sinai Health system. She also sees patients at Mount Sinai’s Internal Medicine Associates and Medical Genetics Faculty Practices, with a focus on diagnosis and management of adults with genetic conditions. Her research interests include investigating rare genetic conditions within diverse populations.
Dr. Iverson received her B.S. with honors from the University of California Los Angeles and her M.D. from the Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed her residency training in Internal Medicine and Medical Genetics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
