Clinical Research Coordinator
Giovanna is a Clinical Research Coordinator in the Institute for Genomic Health and the Charles Bronfman Institute for Personalized Medicine. She is a graduate of the University of Rochester, where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology with a double minor in Global Health and Chemistry. She completed further graduate study in Biomedical Science at Georgetown University. Working on the BioMe BioBank Pilot Genomic Screening program, she consents participants and provides information about obtaining genetic results through this study. She is passionate about understanding the social determinants of health in relationship to health outcomes and accessibility of medical care for medically underserved patients.
